Interested in acquiring a horse? Maybe you already know the basics of horseback riding and now know that you want to engage at the level of ownership? Come on in and we'll teach you what it takes to train a horse. Whether the horse you own, or are interest in buying, is completely wild and has no training or if he just needs some fine tuning-come on in-we'll teach you everything we know. To most the task of horse training seems an extremely daunting task. However with the knowledge and training we'll give you, you'll be empowered to go as far as you'd like to go with your horse. Already own a horse? Bring him with you. We'll work with you and help you teach him the skills that he will need to excel. There are many horse trainers out there who will train your horse for a fee. We'll do that too if you'd like. However, we find that unless the owner of that horse is trained along with the horse, soon the training and good habits that were learned begin to recede and the horse returns to its previous state of mind. In order to be retained, good habits must be reinforced. That means you as the owner must learn how to reinforce the things he has learned. We believe in the proverb "If you give a man a fish, he will eat for a day. If you teach a man to fish, he will eat for the rest of his life". If we give you a horse that is well broke and responsive, you will enjoy that horse for the next ride or two. If we TEACH you the same techniques we used in training that horse, you will enjoy every ride thereafter.
